Ability Through Drumming is a free, intensive, music instruction program for children with special needs. The program is offered through El Sistema South London, and is taught by an experienced special education/music teacher. Ability Through Drumming began in September of 2018 in partnership with Thames Valley Children’s Centre.  

  • The program occurs on Tuesday evenings from mid-September until early April (24 weeks).
  • Program participants are ages 10 and up.
  • There is an interview process to meet the applicant and assess their needs and strengths.
  • There is no charge for this program.​
