St Thomas Keynotes performance, 2026

ESSL once again had the opportunity to perform in the Keynotes Concert following a successful performance at the St Thomas Music Festival in 2026. In honour of the Olympic Games, we played "Winter Games" by David Foster.

St. Thomas keynotes performance, 2025

El Sistema South London senior string ensemble had the opportunity to perform in March for the St. Thomas Kiwanis Music Festival Keynotes concert. They were invited to open the event with the playing of O Canada which was met with powerful singing and patriotism by all in attendance. Following this, the ensemble performed one of their new favourites, a Beyoncé song "Texas Hold 'Em" arranged by Steve Wolsley.

ON150 TOUR, 2017

Thanks to a grant from the Ontario government's Partnership Program, we were able to take the music of Guy Lombardo and Gordon Lightfoot to over 4,000 school kids in June 2017. We toured 10 schools in 2 weeks, delighting the audiences with music they had never heard before. Thanks to Bennett Fleet for the touring van. Thanks to London Arts Council for supporting us in this very worthwhile project.
